Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

SSI is the sister program of Social Security Disabiltiy that is available to people living in poverty or whose work record does not allow for benefits.  The medical rules are the same for either SSI or SSD, however there are strict non-medical rules regarding elibiglity that involve assets and resources.  

I can explain the SSA's laws on SSI and find out whether you are eligible for SSI or SSD, or both.  I have represented many people in Indianapolis and the State of Indiana who are only eligible for SSI and not SSD.
